I bought two of these last fall from Circuit City for 0 less than the current going rate - too bad they don't carry this model any more. I love them! They hold a steady temp and will hold 42 bottles if you work narrower bottles around the pinot noir bottles (which tend to be much bigger than most wine bottles). Don't know why the one person, who hasn't even bought one, took the time to write a 'watch out for Haier' review, because Consumer Reports thinks their wine coolers are a good value. I concur.

BUYER BEWARE OF HAIER! - no nym -
AVOID THIS COMPANY!! My unit arrived broken. Haier customer service was rude obnoxious. They were completely unapologetic seemed to go out of their way to be UNHELPFUL. When I finally bullied them into action, they wanted a full week to send out a service man who may or may not have been able to fix it. I spoke to both customer service and corporate, both were extremely rude and entirely useless. What's more, neither one had the decency to so much as apologize. NEVER AGAIN. br /This was every internet buyer's nightmare!

Inadequate packaging - Ines Almeida -
This wine cooler weighing 103 lbs. comes with very poor protective packing. Our original and one replacement order was delivered with a broken door on both occasions. I can't believe that Amazon would ship this product with only the original manufacturer's packing which is not designed for the rough handling of third party shipping. Amazon refused to send a second replacement after promising that they would do so. It took a second call to Amazon to even find out that the product was not being shipped and that a refund had not been issued. Do not buy this worthwhile product through Amazon unless they promise to adequately repackage it to avoid breakage.

I never received the product - Online Shopper - Los Angeles, CA USA
I ordered this product early in the season as a christmas gift. I received confirmation of my order, and then I also received confirmation that the product had shipped. Imagine my surprise when at least a week later I received a message from the manufacturer telling me that they'd had a problem, and that the product hadn't shipped after all, and that it wouldn't be available until 12/26. Obviously that wouldn't work as a cmas gift. I cancelled my order. It took quite some time to get confirmation of my cancellation, and then even longer for Amazon to notify me that my acct had been credited. I was stunned to hear that I'd been charged at all for something that had never even been shipped to me. I'm a big fan of Amazon, but I've learned to limit my shopping to those things that Amazon ships directly. I've had bad experiences every other time. In the end, I found a similar (better ?) product locally.

It worked well for a while.br /Sure it took a couple days to truly cool stuff, but then it totally died days after the warranty.br /Zero. Nothing. Nada.br /I'm very sad it was a wedding present with best intentions, and we enjoyed it immensely.br /Now this "thing" is in a Florida landfill.br /br /Consider a real refrigerator if you really care about wine temperature.br /Refridgerators cost more to operate, but failure is rare, even at the low-end. Add up your costs and you will conclude as I have that this technology is unreliable. Search the internet and you will discover many like me.br /Say no.br /br /So sad...

width depth dimensions are reversed - catlady - Corpus Christi, TX
I had to return it because it was very deep and very skinny, just the opposite of how the specifications list its dimensions. It would not fit in the space where I'd intended to put it.

br /I looked everywhere from Costco to Wine Stores trying to find a perfect wine cooler before a friend suggested Amazon. That's where I came across the NewAir AW320ED. This is a VERY nice unit! I previously purchased the Cuisinart before this one, but sent ended up returning it since it was so loud. I bought this one, and I couldn't be happier. It has a lot of great features that the Cuisinart did not and, in my opinion, looks nicer.br /br /First, its very quiet compared to the Cuisinart. It has dual zones so I can store my growing collection of both red and white wines. I love that it doesn't make more noise as my refrigerator. It also has screw-in feet that can be used to level it. This was particularly helpful with the textured travertine floor in my kitchen. Although, it's not a big deal unless your floors are not quite level like mine.br /br /br /It has a nice LED light on the interior that is much brighter than the Cuisinart light. It cast a nice blue ray so I can easily find my wine for the night. I really like the touch screen controls as well. The temperature ranges are easily controlled with a touch of a button. It was also super easy to setup. br /The unit even included a one year warranty, which help make my decision to purchase the unit. So far it has been about 5 months since I've had the cooler, and my wife and I are really pleased. br /For about the same price as the Cuisinart, this is a much better unit. Buy it!br /
